Noteworthy in this period is the recovery of Indium, after a long, pause back into the "Top 10". This reflects continuing success of Indium-Tin oxide in flat screen displays, but also now making its way into LEDs.

Rhenium pushed through $ 10 000 / kg mark and is likely to remain above this level for the forseeable future due to its un-substitutable uses and inelastic supply.
